Mat Zo, born Matan Zohar on April 30, 1990, is a British electronic music producer and DJ known for his genre-blending style. With roots in drum and bass, house, trance, and dubstep, Mat Zo has a reputation for pushing musical boundaries and innovating within electronic music. He first gained attention in the early 2010s with tracks on Above & Beyond’s Anjunabeats label, quickly establishing himself as a prominent figure in the trance and progressive house scenes.

His debut album, Damage Control (2013), showcased his versatility and received critical acclaim, earning a Grammy nomination. Known for hit singles like “Easy” with Porter Robinson and “The Sky” featuring Linnea Schossow, Mat Zo’s music often merges complex rhythms and emotive melodies. He has since expanded his reach with his label, Mad Zoo, which supports emerging artists and unique, boundary-pushing electronic music.
