Greg Koch
Milwaukee native Greg Koch is often called one of the most famous unknown guitarists in the world. Known for his fiery creativity, humor, and genre-bending versatility, Greg has released 15 acclaimed albums, toured internationally, authored 14 best-selling instructional books for Hal Leonard, and contributed to major guitar magazines. He’s served as an ambassador for Fender Guitars and Fishman Transducers, and his 4,000+ Wildwood Guitars videos—amassing over 50 million views—have made him a cult hero among guitarists.
His latest project, The Koch-Marshall Trio, showcases his improvisational firepower alongside his son Dylan on drums and Toby Marshall on Hammond organ. Together they deliver a blues-soaked, funk-infused, gospel-tinged jazz-rock sound. Their debut album, Toby Arrives (Mascot Label Group / Players Club, 2018), captures the energy of their very first jam session.

Koch Marshall Trio
Koch Marshall Trio brings together guitar virtuoso Greg Koch, his son Dylan Koch on drums, and Hammond B3 master Toby Lee Marshall. Rooted in the blues but infused with rock, funk, jazz, and country, their sound is driven by heavy grooves, dynamic improvisation, and Greg’s trademark humor. Greg, hailed as “fiendishly talented” (Tom Wheeler) and “scary good” (Joe Bonamassa), is a Fender “Top Ten Unsung Guitarist,” acclaimed author, and viral video favorite with millions of views. Dylan, mentored by Tom Brechtlein, blends classic rock power with jazz finesse. Toby, a former member of Bernard Allison’s band, delivers fiery organ work that anchors the trio’s explosive, genre-blending performances.
