Demun Jones
Demun JonesSeptember 7, 2025 Doors 6pm | Music 6:30pm18+ Every corner of America has its own story — and for Demun Jones, that story is Jones County, Georgia. A rapper, singer, and songwriter, Demun blends rustic instrumentals, hip-hop beats, and vivid storytelling. “I grew up in hayfields listening to N.W.A. and Ozzy Osbourne — that mix became me,” he says. “I rap about life here in Jones County the way West Coast rappers told their stories about Compton.” Music was always in his home, from his brothers’ rock records to his mom’s soul classics. Inspired by Tupac and the Beastie Boys, Demun started writing rhymes at 15. When he wasn’t rapping, he worked alongside his father as a brick mason — learning the value of hard work and strong foundations, a lesson he carries into his music. Demun’s breakout came with “The Muddy Muddy” and his debut album Jones County. He’s since released multiple projects as an independent artist, amassing millions of streams with songs like “Campfire Cologne” and “Feeling Good.” He’s also sold out venues nationwide, all while staying true to his roots. “My lyrics matter,” Demun says. “I want people to know what Jones County is like. I’m a husband and father — you can listen to my music with the whole family. I’ve lived through dark times, but my songs are meant to bring joy, gratitude, and real stories people can feel.” Demun’s straw hat and beard have become his signature — a nod to his Georgia upbringing and his blue-collar beginnings. Like laying bricks, he’s building a legacy one song at a time, with honesty, heart, and gratitude for every fan who made it possible. Faster Pussycat
Faster PussycatJune 29, 2025Doors at 6pm | Music at 6:30pmAll Ages Faster Pussycat rose from the depths of the mid-‘80s Hollywood rock scene and took the Sunset Strip by storm with a sound that wasn’t glam and wasn’t punk, but blistered somewhere in between. With an attitude and swagger all its own, their self-titled debut featured the instant classics “Babylon,” “Bathroom Wall,” “Cathouse” and “Don’t Change That Song,” and its follow-up ‘Wake Me When It’s Over’ climbed even higher with the radio hit “House Of Pain,” “Poison Ivy” and “Where There’s A Whip There’s A Way.” Despite their successes, Faster defied the mainstream mold and always followed frontman Taime Downe’s underground sensibilities. The gold and platinum records are nice, but Taime considers his greatest accomplishment longevity. “The only number that really matters to me is the number 40. Four decades later, Faster Pussycat are still rocking, and it feels as fresh as it did in 1986.” Look no further than their 2025 releases “Motorbike” and the INXS cover “Don’t Change” – Faster Pussycat are as virile and tenacious as ever… and won’t have it any other way. Reverend Horton Heat
Reverend Horton Heat Nathan & the Zydeco Cha Chas June 8, 2025 Doors 6 | Show at 6:30pm 18+ With their hot-rodded fusion of dazzling high-speed guitar runs, thundering rhythms, high-profile swagger, and lyrical smirk, The Reverend Horton Heat are perhaps the most popular psychobilly artists of all time, their recognition rivaled only by the esteem generated by the genre’s founders, the Cramps. The Reverend (as both the band and its guitar-playing frontman are known) built a strong cult following during the ’90s through constant touring, manic showmanship, and a barbed sense of humor. The latter was nothing new in the world of psychobilly, of course, and Heat’s music certainly maintained the trashy aesthetic of his spiritual forebears. The Reverend’s true innovation was updating the psychobilly sound for the alternative rock era. In their hands, it had roaring distorted guitars, rocked as hard as any punk band, and didn’t look exclusively to the pop culture of the past for its style or subject matter. Most of the Reverend’s lyrics were gonzo celebrations of sex, drugs, booze, and cars, and true to his name, his early concerts often featured mock sermons in the style of a rural revivalist preacher. On their 1992 debut Smoke ‘Em If You Got ‘Em, the group established the template of their no-frills, high-intensity approach to rockabilly, and though celebrity producers helped beef up the sound of their next two albums — Gibby Haynes of the Butthole Surfers on 1993’s The Full Custom Gospel Sounds and Ministry’s Al Jourgensen on 1994’s Liquor in the Front — the Reverend’s essential style changed little with time. They would explore a more introspective side on 2004’s Revival, embrace their country influences on 2009’s Laughin’ & Cryin’ with the Reverend Horton Heat, and add a pianist to the mix on 2018’s Whole New Life, but on-stage and in the studio, Jim Heath and his bandmates could always be depended upon to deliver some of the twangy fire that their fans loved. With over 1 million albums sold and nearly 35 years in the game, Heath and company have been delivering blood-pressure inducing scriptures to millions of fans worldwide. Call it rock and roll, psychobilly or what have you, The Reverend Horton Heat is often considered an early architect of the latter genre (at least on this side of the Atlantic) and occupies a peculiar place in American musical terrain. Blending funk-metal with elements of ska and reggae while also demonstrating surprising acoustic prowess, lead vocalist Jimi Haha grew up in Maryland where he played with the group Ten Times Big. After that band broke up, he snowboarded for two years before beginning several acoustic jams with friends. These coalesced into Jimmie’s Chicken Shack. Based in Annapolis, MD, the group formed their own Fowl Records, which became a nexus for the leading bands in the tri-state area. After selling tens of thousands of records, Jimmie’s Chicken Shack signed to Elton John’s Rocket Records and released two major-label albums, Pushing the Salmanilla Envelope and Bring Your Own Stereo.
