We return to the Electric Jungle for another full night of drum & bass featuring curated selections from experienced Dj’s in the heart of downtown RVA at Ember Music Hall.  ECHO BROWN     (The North Quarter / 1985 / Shogun Audio) USA   Echo Brown is a leading figure in an impressive new wave of North American Drum & Bass talent. Currently residing in Raleigh, North Carolina, Echo jumped on to the scene with daring effect in 2020, debuting his distinct lo-fi signature sound on Lenzman’s The North Quarter as well as other premium imprints such as Shogun Audio, and Alix Perez’s 1985 Music. At the beginning of 2021 the young producer made his mark with the well-rounded ‘Struggles EP’, which led to international support from artists and DJs alike. In February 2022, Echo released his second release on The North Quarter – “Midnight Static EP”. With new projects currently in production, Echo Brown has both fans and peers looking forward to his unique take on Drum & Bass music. He has been featured on UKF, BBC Radio, Rinse FM, and more. His releases receive regular support from DNB heavy hitters like DJ Randall, Bryan Gee, DJ Marky, Calibre, Grooverider, DJ Storm, dBridge, LTJ Bukem, DJ Vapour, A-Sides, and Random Movement.   JOANNA O.    (Turnstyleonline.com / 2 Tuff DC) RVA   DJ Joanna O. has been mixing music for ravers since 1998. She is a USA DNB DJ who has an infectious vibe both on the dancefloor and behind the decks. Her sound can best be described as soulful liquid vibes with a hint of jungle flavors. She prefers to “speak with her hands” by mixing well. Her FM Radio residency Frequency airs weekly on Saturday nights on 97.3 FM WRIR. The show has been a staple on the airwaves in Richmond since 2005. As an event promoter, she has worked tirelessly to support the community of DJs, performers, and dancers at some of the East Coast’s most renowned dance music venues and events. As a DJ, anyone who’s ever been on her dance floors can attest that her sets have always been pure fire.
