Led by producer/DJ/drummer TIARA and brought to life by the spellbinding vocal chemistry and live choreography of AQUA and RUBY, the group bridges underground dance culture with pop-minded hooks while earning a reputation for sets that feel like a mix of a warehouse rave, live concert, and anime daydream. Slackjaw is an American heavy metal trio from South Carolina, formed in 2017 when Dallas Young (vocals, rhythm guitar/bass) met lead guitarist Brady Riggenbach. Drummer Jacob Rigdon completed the lineup in 2021. Despite lineup changes, Dallas and Brady carried the band’s vision forward, handling multiple studio roles, with Brady performing drums on most recordings. Driven by a shared love of Pantera and Black Label Society, Slackjaw quickly built momentum. Their debut single “Caught in the Crossfire” and first album Ritual of Dissonance earned strong acclaim and helped the band amass a dedicated online following — all without a label, management, or touring support.
